Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01 Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

On Day 1 you will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your lodge in Arusha, where your Tanzanian adventure begins. The afternoon will be yours to settle in, freshen up, and meet your guide for a briefing on the days ahead. Dinner at the lodge will round off a relaxed and anticipation-filled first evening.

Day 02 Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

On Day 2 you will depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its enormous elephant herds and ancient baobab trees that dot the savannah in every direction. A full afternoon game drive in the private pop-up roof 4x4 vehicle will give you excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a remarkable diversity of birdlife. After game viewing you will transfer to your lodge for dinner and a well-earned rest.

Day 03 Day 3: Tarangire to Central Serengeti National Park

On Day 3 you will enjoy an early breakfast before making your way northwest towards the Serengeti, one of the most celebrated wildlife ecosystems on the planet. The drive itself will pass through the scenic Rift Valley highlands, and you will enter the park in time for an afternoon game drive across the open golden plains. The Serengeti's staggering concentrations of predators and prey will make this an unforgettable first day on the great plains.

Day 04 Day 4: Full Day in the Serengeti

On Day 4 you will have an entire day devoted to game driving in the Serengeti, giving you the best possible chance of tracking all of the Big Five and witnessing predator action in the wild. Morning and afternoon game drives will cover different areas of the central Serengeti, following your guide's expert knowledge of animal movements and seasonal patterns. Day 05 Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

On Day 5 you will leave the Serengeti and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. A full crater-floor game drive will take you through grasslands, swamps, and soda lakes where lions, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra share this extraordinary enclosed ecosystem. After an immersive day of game viewing you will transfer to your lodge near the crater rim for dinner.
