Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Parks
Maasai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park are two of Kenya’s most popular tourist destinations, renowned for their incredible diversity of wildlife and stunning landscapes.
Maasai Mara is home to the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. The reserve is also one of the best places in the world to see the Great Migration, an annual spectacle in which millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing.
Lake Nakuru is known for its large population of flamingos, which turn the shores of the lake pink. The park is also home to a variety of other wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and lions.
Both parks offer a variety of activities, including game drives, walking safaris, birdwatching, and cultural visits to Maasai villages.
